Child Star to Superstar
I chose to listen to an interview from Fresh Air on Justin Timberlake. The interviewer started the interview off by giving some background information about Justin as well as his career acomplishments. The interview began with his most recent success of the potrayal of Napster creator Sean Parker in the movie Social Netork. She asked questions about the directing of the film and cast portrayal in which Justin seemed to answer honestly and gave his opinions on these questions. Questions came up along the lines of his interest in comed, in which she brought up his most recent skit with Jimmy Fallon. Justin stated that he has always been into making people laugh since he was a little kid running around with a Jackson Five wig on.
The interviewers stratagey seemed to be start with his most recent acomplishments and work her way backward to the begginning of his career, where and how he got started in the entertainment industry.
There didn't seem to be any kind of relationship between the two, but she was obviously familar with who he is and he did mention at the end he was looking forward to the interview becaus he was a fan of her show.
From this interview I learned that starting with questions about the new and most interesting things that are going on in the persons life and career are most important so you can be sure to get those answered. Dont be afraid to ask a follow up question if they said something interesting when answering another question, this was done often in the interview and you learned quite a bit more about him by expanding on what he was saying.

You need to identify the interviewer, and you need to proofread. For example:
ReplyDelete* Jackson 5, not Jackson Five
* comedy, not comed
* interviewer's strategy, not "interviewers stratagey"
Keep looking, there's more.
